Lake Traffic Solutions’ (LTS) specializes in pedestrian safety and Driver Visual Awareness tools.
For school zones and other pedestrian safety needs, we supply:

These tools can be combined with our traffic calming solutions on school routes that include Flexible Kurbing for chokers, chicanes, circles and medians and Road Kop Speed Cushions for effective traffic calming that slows traffic 8-12 mph (85th percentile speeds), reduces cut-through traffic and are also fire department and bus friendly.

MUTCD in-street pedestrian signs are available for un-signalized school and non-school, crosswalks, campuses, airports and parking lots.

LTS’ MUTCD in-street Yield to Pedestrians (YTP) and Stop for Pedestrians (SFP) signs provide a very visible, low cost and quick response to pedestrian safety concerns. Combine these signs with our
BriteSide FYG signpost panels for greatly enhanced driver awareness.

Our signs feature a patented, reactive unit (pictured on right) with a stainless steel cable and coil steel spring tensioned at 200 lbs. These return to attention even after being impacted.

• In-street pedestrian signs are available with one or two panels and a choice of mounting options.
• School crosswalk signs typically use the Quick Release feature with either the #101FQR fixed base

• Signs can be ordered with anti-graffiti film.
