Lake Traffic Solutions specializes in pedestrian safety and driver visual awareness tools. We supply MUTCD in-street pedestrian signs, BlinkerBEAM® and DayViz® solar powered, LED enhanced signs, specialized LED signs, radar readout signs and solar powered beacons for greater pedestrian and driver safety.

These tools can be combined with our traffic calming solutions including Road Kop Speed Cushions and Flexible Kurbing to create a holistic treatment for troubled locations. Road Kop speed cushions slow traffic 8-12 mph (85th% speeds), reduce cut-through traffic, and are fire department and bus friendly.

In-street (Impactable) Pedestrian Signs

MUTCD in-street pedestrian signs are used for non-signaled school and non-school crosswalks. Signs are available with one or two panels and a choice of mounting options. We offer the following standard messages, as well as other messages that comply with state and local regulations.

LTS’ MUTCD in-street Yield to Pedestrians (YTP) and Stop for Pedestrians (SFP) signs are an excellent solution for government agencies wanting a low cost, quick response to pedestrian safety concerns. Together with BriteSide FYG signpost panels, they provide greatly enhanced driver awareness.

Impact Recovery base options

We carry all three installation materials for mounting the bases. The 101-series fixed bases can be installed using:

• #165 Anchor Kits,
• Two-part A/B epoxy, or
• Super Bundy® torch-down epoxy pads (2 per base).
• Tuff Curb and Dura-Curb are supplied with all necessary hardware for installation on asphalt or concrete.

Signs can be ordered with anti-graffiti film.
