Mounting Options

There are four base options to consider when using Impact Recovery Systems’ devices.

Portable One Base
Portable "One Base" (#103QR) comes standard with our revolutionary quick release feature and works with all of our products that are equipped with a quick release pin. This base is perfect for applications that are not permanent and is easily transported. The base is made of recycled rubber, weighs approximately 36 lbs, and the footprint measures 14"x34"x1.75". The One Base is interchangeable with the Quick Release Fixed Base (#101QR).

Quick Release Fixed Base
Quick Release Fixed Base (#101QR) is a surface mount base with quick release feature designed for permanent applications. This base offers the convenience of a permanent base with a removable sign. The base is made of High Density Polyethylene plastic, weighs approximately 1½ lbs and the footprint measures 8"x8"x1". The Quick Release Fixed Base is interchangeable with the One Base.

Fixed Base
Fixed Base (#101NS) is a surface mount base designed for permanent applications. This base offers the convenience of a permanent base with the upright secured with bolts. The base is made of high density polyethylene plastic, weighs approximately 1½ lbs and the footprint measures 8"x8"x1".

Driveable Base
Driveable Base (#105NS) is a soil mount base designed for off road installations. The base consists of a piece of perforated steel tubing, weighs approximately 5 lbs and measures 2.18"x2.18"x18". This base is not interchangeable as it requires a special driveable spring.
